We’ve Only 2 Channels (And There Is Nothing On) I’ve got a big old house on Swimming Pool Road Got so many things but the one thing I forgot Bought the most up to date colour tv set No satellite dish, it was impossible to pay. When I’m home alone and my baby’s gone I wanna see some film and switch the tv on Just a talk-show running and the boredom’s coming This is state-owned high-standard tv-scream adaption. Well, these 2 damn channels cost me sleepless nights With my baby we always get the channel-fights She wants to see the arts, I wanna see some sports The same sad question: “Baby should we get divorced?” But before our endless love breaks by a tv set We should talk it over one more time in bed And after many hours, we come to a solution That state-owned tv is a serious pollution. Chorus We’ve only 2 channels and there’s nothing on! We’ve only 2 channels and there’s nothing on! We’ve only 2 channels and there’s nothing on! Every night!

Where do you want me to go Where do you want me to go? Where do you want me to go? Where do you want me to go? Where do you want me to be? Where do you want me to be? Where do you want me to be? Where do you want me to stay? Where do you want me to stay? Where do you want me to stay? Where do you want me to hide? Where do you want me to hide? Where do you want me to hide? Why do you make me sad? Why do you make me sad? Why do you make me sad? Why do you want me to cry? Why do you want me to cry? Why do you want me to cry? Chorus: I know that you’re so far away I know that you’re so far away I know that you’re so far away Where do you want me to go?

Walden Pond 05:06
Walden Pond Well the night’s fallin’ in so slowly There’s a heart pounding wild and so strong You’re sending out for smiles Or maybe even more You’d like to speak, it’s strange, but you just can’t. See the trees loose their green and now they’re coloured You’ve been running all day and you just couldn’t perceive Ideas are filling the air What are you trying to say? What are you trying to find or hoping to see? In the backstreets of a fast movin’ town Where hearts are buried right before they’re grown Where love is traded for dreams Or for a vacant place You’re looking for someone who’s really there. Well the night’s fallin’ in so slowly There’s a heart pounding wild and so strong You’re sending out for smiles Or maybe even more You’d like to speak, it’s strange, but you just can’t. Chorus Meet me tonight at Walden Pond Meet me tonight under the stars Meet me tonight wherever you like But please meet me tonight. Meet me tonight at the gas station Meet me tonight at the library Meet me tonight, wherever you like But please meet me tonight.

Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go Well you’ve got something in your head And you’ve got something to say Well don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Well don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Well I see flowers in your arms And a smile in your heart Well don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Well don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Well I know, it’s really late And the night is kind of dark Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! There’s lots of things to dream And lots of things to lose Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! You’ve got something sweet to give Remember what it was Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Have you checked your emails And have you paid all your bills Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go! Don’t forget to tell her that you gotta go!

Those nights were long ago Those nights were long ago Those nights were long ago Those nights were glad to be free Those nights were free. In the morning I went away In the morning I went away I know I made you sad You were so sad. I know, I did something wrong I know I did something wrong I should have known before God, I should have known. You said, I was different that night You said that I was different that night You said it so silently But I know, you meant it to me. I wonder where you are these days I wonder where you are these days I wonder where you're sticking around And if you're happy at all. Those nights were long ago Those nights were long ago Those nights were glad to be free Those nights were free.

Life Vest 06:36
Life Vest There’s lighthouses and harbours and there is custom love. There’s nothing but the iron, and the wire around your heart. Where is all the good stuff, And where is all the real? Where are all the stores To provide you with what you with what you need? Where are all the parties, to invite you to stay long? Where are all the dark nights, With all the hidden smiles? There are many drinks to share, Different ones with different colours. There are many songs to hear, To sing and to discuss. Where is all the loving, Where has it gone? Where is all the happiness, The fire and the storm? There are many clouds around Fog instead of sun. There are many waves to break, Ships that won’t slow down. Chorus Throw me a life vest, So I can jump into that river To find maybe the things that I have lost. Cause I can’t see them anywhere, But I’ve been looking all around. Lend me a life vest or a hand.

Sad Land 04:07
Sad Land There’s a land where you were born There’s a land where you grew up There’s a land where you’ve been wandering long ago. Once deprived from all this wandering On this carpet full of mud If you look between the curtain you will see. Never say what you have witnessed Never say what you have seen It’s a story someone else will write for you. There’s a windy thought at night Conversations in the dark There’s a tension in the basement of your home. There’s the father and the bride They are dancing really slow She will teach him how to cheat and to betray. There are girls in sleeveless shirts Texting lyrics in their phones Sending letters to the men they’ll never know. Chorus Sad land, sad land, my home is just sad land.

Chained 04:02
Chained I was scared and you were scared We were scared those days I was running and you were running We were running around behind. In a little garden of red, red roses We saw happiness go by We were playing with an iron fence We were searching excuse. You’ve got shiny, blowing hair What would you say, if I flirt? You said, you’d like a little kiss ‘cause you came a long, long way. In a playground on the side of the street you would smile You would give your love And if you planned to go away Well you can go away. Like a beaver without teeth Like a fashion wind Concerned with running, hiding and stumbling Trying to get away. I was chained and you were chained We were chained those days We were chained those days We were chained those days.
9.
Totally Blind I told you a story once about a tree About the moon and stars as well I told you things about the brain About the dreams and conscious, too. Ch: How can you be so totally blind? How can you be so totally blind? You never ask questions, you are just blind. How can you be so totally blind? I saw things and love affairs Saw the wilderness and didn’t care I saw all kinds of persons, too But I don’t remember seeing you. Ch: How can you be so totally blind? How can you be so totally blind? You never open your eyes, you are just blind. How can you be so totally blind? I was running from town to town Well you can say, I came around. But have I seen, what I came to find? Or was I running while being blind? Ch: How can you be so totally blind? How can you be so totally blind? You never are curious, you are just blind. How can you be so totally blind? And in the streets of a little village With wind and rain and fainting lights There was this dog that told me “Son, You never arrive but you always run!” Ch: How can you be so totally blind? How can you be so totally blind? You never wanna know, you are just blind. How can you be so totally blind? There was this night and a lot of playing So many words, without any saying. The ashamed full moon seeing it all, Someone had to be hurt and someone to fall. Ch: How can you be so totally blind? How can you be so totally blind? You don’t understand, you are just blind. How can you be so totally blind?
10.
How Do You Do In vibrant cities and dark ghost towns on haunting streets and silent bars, you turning round and shaking hands. How do you do, how do you do? Where do you think that you can go these days? Where can you stay or try to hide? Where is this place you always hoped to go? How do you do, how do you do? In lonesome shadows, lonesome moves to go, lonesome homes and lonesome paths, but still you keep your little role to play. How do you do, how do you do? And if you know that someone’s holding you, someone’s there and not to leave. Then you can be just like yourself. How do you do, how do you do? Now you pretend you got some love to give you got some home to share, in a position, where you can say: How do you do, how do you do? Just like a raven that’s talking loud talking much, not much to say. You gotta look, where you gonna stay. How do you do, how do you do? If you float along that river valley around that island that you were dreaming of, then you can ask or you can shout: How do you do, how do you?
